Real Housewives of Atlanta: What is next for Nene Leakes without a raise?

At every turn, it seems Nene Leakes is hell-bent on burning all of her RHOA bridges, but what could be next for her if she has no more friends?

Of course, Nene Leakes is a staple on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and has been for a long time, but the show is strong enough on its own these days.  Nene has been nothing but shady, rude, and hard to work with, and it seems to show in her relationship with Andy Cohen.  Whenever anything doesn’t go her way, Nene storms off or yells until she gets her way.  During the reunion, she simply shut her laptop and left the “set” because she was getting heat.

Nene spoke with Entertainment Tonight and basically demanded a raise because she is so important.  “My check need to be doubled, thank you very much. My check need to be doubled, because the rest of you girls live a false life.”  Nene said that even though she wasn’t a part of every episode this season, she felt that most of the reunion focused on her.

Andy said that Nene had been coming for Kandi Burruss on her YouTube channel because she was jealous that Kandi got another spin-off.  Nene denied that allegation by yelling and pointing at the camera instead of actually answering the question.

One of Nene’s biggest faults is her inability to accept responsibility for anything.  At this point, she has her relationship with Porsha Williams to fall back on but has alienated herself from everyone else.  By demanding more money and just being demanding in general, is this the end of the road for Nene?  With the way the new payment structure is set up, if you don’t have anyone to film with and you aren’t in all of the episodes, you aren’t getting paid.

If we’ve learned anything this year, being an original cast member isn’t enough to keep you employed by Bravo.  Times change and so do cast members, even if they were at one time considered essential.  Also, giving interviews airing your grievances about your employer on a competing channel is probably not the wisest decision.

Nene might be interesting, but she’s not interesting enough to only have solo scenes and be a part of the cast.  So will she be done with the show if she doesn’t get the raise she thinks she deserves?
