Shahs of Sunset: Golnesa Gharachedaghi welcomes her first child, Elijah

The Shahs of Sunset star, Golnesa Gharachedaghi, welcomed her first child on April 27 at 8:50 PM.  Congrats to GG and baby Elijah!

Golnesa Gharachedaghi, lovingly known as “GG” on the hit Bravo show, Shahs of Sunset, has finally welcomed baby Elijah Javad Gharachedaghi.  On April 27, 2020, at 8:50 PM, baby Elijah made his debut at 6.5 pounds and 19.5 inches, as first reported by Bravo.

On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen @ Home, GG discussed what it was like to be quarantined inside during her last months of pregnancy.  “I would say the last two months have weighed a little heavily on me because I haven’t been able to interact with my friends or have that physical support of friends being around,” GG told Andy.

On the bright side, GG said her parents were staying with her, which meant tons of home-cooked meals.  She also said she wasn’t having any pregnancy cravings!  What a lucky lady.  On the not so bright side, GG was not allowed to have family with her during the birth for security and safety reasons.

Steve Honig, GG’s representative, said, “Everyone is doing great and Golnesa is beyond excited to be a mom and start this new adventure.”  You can see the first photo of baby Elijah on BravoTV.com.  GG also shared a photo of an ultrasound of Elijah before he was born, shown in the above Instagram post.

The Bravo star has been documenting her struggles on the most recent season of Shahs of Sunset.  After initially getting pregnant by IVF, GG lost the pregnancy after seven weeks due to an ectopic pregnancy, which then led her to have her fallopian tubes removed.  GG opted for another round of IVF and announced she was expecting in Oct. 2019.

Elijah is the second Shahs of Sunset baby born during the show, following Mercedes “MJ” Javid and Tommy Feight’s first child, Shams, born in April 2019.

GG and baby Elijah are off to a great start together.  Congrats to GG and welcome to the world, Elijah!
