Both the guests and crew had an awkward night filled with unrequited love on this episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, but Jenna and Adam took the cake.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht is sailing full speed ahead…right into a disaster. Both the crew and the charter guests had quite an eventful experience. Lyndi, the main charter guest, was obsessing over Adam Glick and his food, while her boyfriend, Jesse, casually looked on. Jenna MacGillivray was more focused on the object of Lyndi’s affection more than the guest’s needs, per usual.
At one point, Jenna casually mentioned that no one had ever given her flowers before. Adam took that hint and jumped off the boat, where he ran full speed into a very large stick with his face. He gathered some weeds for Jenna and returned with them, happy with himself for his quick thinking (except for the whole face stick thing). Upon giving Jenna the flowers, she seemed a bit tired but mildly thankful. She said if she wasn’t so tired, she would probably cry. But she didn’t cry.
Jenna inserted herself into a little pow-wow with the guests while delivering them nuts. She took the opportunity to tell them that Adam was her property and not theirs, Jenna looked fairly proud of herself for such a great catch.
Caught up in the moment
Jesse found himself in a romantic spot with a romantic idea. Jesse said he wanted to propose to Lyndi but didn’t have a ring. Jenna, ever so gracious, offered up a ring of her own to get Lyndi out of her boyfriend’s galley. The proposal went off with many hitches, she basically said no. “Can everyone stop? This is…too much.” That wasn’t a “yes,” by any means.
But then, of course, the bees really hit the fan. Jenna and Adam went to have a loving moment together where Jenna actually said that she loved Adam. Adam, obviously, freaked out. He gathered his pillow and tried to leave the room when the episode ended.
Both Jenna and Adam seemed aware that dating while working on a boat can be complicated but they did it anyway. Has the love boat sailed before they even got comfortable? We can only hope…
Below Deck Sailing Yacht is on Mondays at 9 PM ET.
