The Real Housewives of New York star, Ramona Singer, said she was free of Lyme disease after a little help from her doctors.
The Real Housewives of New York’s Ramona Singer was diagnosed with Lyme disease back in March after feeling ill and visiting the doctor. But since mid-March, Ramona has been in Boca Raton, Florida, “self-isolating” with her daughter, Avery, and her ex-husband, Mario Singer. Ramona recently spoke with DailyMailTV about her Lyme disease diagnoses and was happy to report that she was recovered from the Lyme. “My Lyme is gone. I don’t have chronic Lyme, my immune system is strong again,” she said.
Ramona said that because she’s doing so well, she can even drink wine again. Ramona said that her two doctors, Dr. Daryl Gioffre and Dr. Bernard Schayes, cured her of the “debilitating” illness. After noting that she had little energy and was feeling tired and drained, she’s happy to say that she can walk her two miles with ease again – and fit in a fitness class or two.
Perhaps Ramona has just adjusted to life in Florida! She uploaded a shot of sunrise to her Instagram earlier this week as she was up with the sun to take on the day.
The RHONY star reminded her fans and viewers that regular checkups are important – especially if you aren’t feeling well! Ramona and Avery have been doing workouts on Instagram for fun, and she’s even hosting a happy hour on Pozzy to benefit Feeding America.
The digital happy hour with the New York maven is scheduled for April 24 at 5 PM ET and has only 20 spots available for $100 each.
Since Ramona caught her illness early and followed the recommendations by her doctors, she was able to get back to her old self pretty quickly. Cheers to that, Ramona!
The Real Housewives of New York is on Thursdays at 9 PM ET!
