RHONY: Was Ramona Singer’s party an open house or a cocktail party?

Ramona Singer, RHONY host with the most, had the ladies out to her Hamptons home and took them to an open-house-slash-cocktail-party.

On the most recent RHONY, Tinsley Mortimer and Dorinda Medley were able to put their differences aside to spend the weekend at Ramona Singer’s house in the Hamptons.  Ramona had a fun-filled weekend planned for the ladies that included wine, more wine, and some vodka.  Sonja Morgan took these plans very seriously and accidentally got wasted at lunch.

By the time they got to Ramona’s friend’s house for a party (slash open house), Sonja was in rare form.  The homeowner, Joe Farrell, showed us his bowling alley, halfpipe, floating chair, DJ booth, and other attributes of the home, which Dorinda Medley thought was tacky.  At one point, Sonja said, “We are in a 40 million dollar house and you don’t have gin?”  Joe is apparently known for his large home with many rooms where he hosted a fundraiser for Donald Trump.

All was mostly fine until Elyse Slaine called Sonja “arm candy” for her ex-husband, John Adams Morgan.  Sonja was adamant she was not arm candy, but a partner to John.

Ramona seemed concerned that the girls were going to embarrass her in front of her fancy friends…which Sonja only mildly did.  She was also the only entertaining part of the whole party.  “I got more money in the bank than any of them!”  Sonja remarked about the young man in the pin cashmere sweater, certainly named Chad.  While showing Ramona the hot tub, Joe even asked if he could keep Ramona captive, which was incredibly creepy given the circumstances.

Eventually, the whole group made their way out in a flurry of colorful dressing and shouting.  Luann de Lesseps escaped the “lower level” filled with spiders in the middle of the night and sent everyone a passive-aggressive text about how she deserves better lodging.  But not once has Luann hosted the ladies in her own home, right?

The entire episode was filled with yelling, drinking, colorful dresses, Chanel, spiders, and wine.  There wasn’t a minute of it that wasn’t entertaining, and we haven’t even made it to Saturday night yet…
