RHOC: Why did Vicki Gunvalson really postpone her wedding?
By Amanda Cline
Vicki Gunvalson got engaged a year ago and planned on walking down the aisle soon, but they’ve decided to postpone the wedding…Can we guess why?
As first reported by PEOPLE, Vicki Gunvalson and Steve Lodge planned to marry later this month after a year-long engagement. Vicki took to Instagram live earlier in the week to discuss her wedding with a Hollywood Life associate and said, “The wedding is off. We’re doing nothing.” She said they are still going to get married…but gave no other concrete plans.
Vicki said that she was focused on her business and her staff, not her wedding. She was adamant that she and Steve love each other but are not getting married anytime soon. So, are they postponing the wedding due to their relationship or due to the current happenings in the world?
Vicki is sticking to her story about canceling the wedding due to their inability to travel, which makes sense. Her and Steve are having plenty of quality time together right now as they are quarantined together in Orange County. Vicki also mentioned that Steve said Vicki is crabby and encouraged her to (safely) get out of the house for a while. We can’t blame him.
In other news…
During the Instagram live, someone called Vicki boring and she flipped out and yelled at them. Right after that, Vicki discussed how she unfollowed Shannon Storms Beador after she had Kelly Dodd over for dinner. I love Vicki’s reasoning.
Vicki also hinted that Andy Cohen and Bravo asked her to come back to the channel already, on Watch What Happens Live or some other show, but she said she wasn’t ready for that yet. She did mention she’s finally stopped crying about the situation.
Vicki also said she was closing on a condo in Puerto Vallarta so she can whoop it up whenever she wants to, but the closing on that has been indefinitely pushed back.
So it seems like Vicki is all over the place right now. Understandably, it isn’t the right time to get married for the Bravo couple. The rest of their plans are to be determined…we just hope they can make it through quarantine.
The Real Housewives of Orange County will be back on Bravo later this year.
