Real Housewives of New Jersey: 4 best moments from the reunion part 1

The first part of The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion was upon us!  And everyone was surprisingly calm, besides Jennifer Aydin.

Jennifer Aydin did her best to ensure she had a spot on The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast for next year.  Right out of the gate, she was yelling and calling people out.  Jennifer started out by calling Melissa Gorga self-absorbed when she said she was having a baby again.

Well, she said Melissa was too self-absorbed to have another baby.  Jennifer said what we were all thinking: Melissa’s baby storyline was fake.  Andy Cohen added, “She’s saying you were faking it.”  Jennifer went on to call out all of Melissa’s storylines as fake, which has been the general consensus for a while.

Last season, Melissa said she had a long-lost sister that she was trying to find.  Melissa and Teresa also opened an Italian restaurant that didn’t do very well.  I wouldn’t call it fake…but it wasn’t a great idea.

In contrast, Teresa Giudice was quiet as a mouse throughout the first part.  She said, maybe, fifteen words, and mostly shrugged.  She certainly did not defend Melissa at any point.  Teresa did seem highly amused at all of Jennifer’s ridiculous comments and the camera caught her smirking multiple times.

And even though we knew it wasn’t coming to fruition, hearing Dolores say she and David Principe were done was interesting.  She mentioned that she wasn’t moving into the house (though it is done!) because she didn’t get a commitment from David.

In contrast to the rest of Jennifer’s nonsense, it was nice to hear her mom has accepted her brother since the show aired.  She mentioned that her mom had her brother and all of his friends over while she made them Turkish food.  Though most of Jennifer’s nonsense tonight was laughable, that was a nice moment to witness.
