RHOA: Kandi Burruss is getting a show about Old Lady Gang!

Kandi Burruss’ Atlanta-based restaurant, Old Lady Gang, is getting its own show after celebrating years of success and soul food.
After Kandi Burruss opened Old Lady Gang back in 2016, it has gained a strong following in the Atlanta area. Kandi and Todd Tucker are frequently at the restaurant for The Real Housewives of Atlanta or have events there, and it always looks busy. But now Kandi is getting her own show on Bravo featuring the establishment.
The show will apparently be called Old Lady Gang and will focus mostly on the main location in Castleberry Hill. There is a second location in East Point and another smaller one inside a nearby arena. It sounds like an Atlanta-based Vanderpump Rules! However, the southern eatery is known for its soul food and even won the Atlanta Taste of Soul award, which is a far cry from Pump-Tinis and goat cheese balls.
The restaurant features recipes by Kandi’s mom, Joyce Jones, and her two aunts, Nora Wilcox and Bertha Jones. The “our story” tab on the OLG website says, “if these three women put as much love and dedication into their original recipes as they do into their families, we are guaranteed to have some of the best southern cuisine that the South has to offer.” Sounds good to me!
This isn’t Kandi’s fist spinoff on Bravo, it’s actually her fourth. She had “Kandi’s Ski Trip,” literally about a ski trip with her family, “The Kandi Factory,” about finding musicians, and “Kandi’s Wedding,” which was obviously about her marriage to Todd.
The news comes very shortly after there was a shooting near the restaurant around Valentine’s Day. All of the victims were okay, according to CNN. Hopefully, that was not caught during filming.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta is on every Sunday at 8 PM!
