RHONJ: Teresa Giudice and Joe ended their marriage during the finale

The finale seemed like two full RHONJ episodes crammed into 60 minutes because it was, especially with all of Teresa Giudice’s antics.

The finale episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey was quite a doozy.  Melissa Gorga told everyone that Teresa Giudice had encouraged Danielle Staub to pull Margaret Josephs’ hair, which abruptly ended the last filmed party.

Teresa transported back to season one and tossed her solo cup in the air before clearing off a nearby table in one big swipe.  But after Margaret and Teresa talked, the last half of the show focused on Teresa and the girls going to see Joe Giudice in Italy.

It was nice to see the family reunite but it also felt a little out of place.  The drama in the first 30 minutes deserved a full 60 minutes, and forcing all of the RHONJ fans to watch Teresa’s family going on a first-class trip to Italy felt a little…cheap.

I also think I, personally, would not want to see my dad who was just deported by the government and spent four years locked up for the first time while being filmed.  But I digress.

By the end of the shopping and pasta eating, Teresa and Joe were forced to discuss the future of their marriage.  It was incredibly awkward.  Joe seemed to still want to make things work, while it was clear Teresa was not interested.  You can watch the awkward clip on BravoTV.com.  It is also interesting that Joe thinks Teresa is the same person he left four years ago.  After all he put her through, how would she be the same person? 

Joe and Teresa will never collectively take responsibility for the crimes that put them in prison.  They think that if they had not been snitched on, they wouldn’t have gotten in trouble.  It was only a matter of time.  What’s next for Teresa on the show?  I guess we will have to wait and find out.
