RHONY: 5 fun things to know about new housewife Leah McSweeney

Get to know the newest RHONY cast member on the block, Leah McSweeney, and what she thought of the ladies on their first meeting.

Leah McSweeney has been brought on RHONY as a friend of Tinsley Mortimer (apparently) and sat down with Bravo Insider to give us the scoop.  The first fun fact is that Leah mentioned that Ramona Singer hates when she chews gum.  She also said if there was a Real Housewives movie, she would want Lil’ Kim to play her.  Which leads me to the second fun fact: that Lil’ Kim is apparently her favorite person.

The third thing that you probably know is that Leah has a clothing line called Married to the Mob that is apparently celebrating its 15th year in business.  Leah was born and raised in New York City, and is currently the only wife on the show that can say that.  She was on The Millionaire Matchmaker but did not find love, though she does have a daughter named Kiki who is 12 (fun fact number four!).

Dorinda Medley apparently scared Leah on their first meeting, while Luann de Lesseps she called a “cool ass countess.”  I bet Luann loved hearing that.  Leah said that on her first season of the show, she did a lot of things she said she wasn’t going to, such as throwing food and getting naked.  She’s also the youngest wife out of the bunch now, beating out Tinsley by seven years (even though Tinsley is done with the show now).

The final fun fact about Leah is that she has a podcast called Improper Etiquette.  She hosts the podcast with Laura Stylez and shared she has Bipolar II Disorder.  Because of this, Leah is an advocate for mental health and has focused on bringing awareness to issues that some people might be scared to share about.
