Andy called out LeeAnne’s lies about production

The lies continued until Andy stepped in to refute some of LeeAnne’s claims.  Check out what he had to say about the production side of things.

When Andy asked Kary how she felt watching these scenes on the show, she broke down, saying she couldn’t even look at LeeAnne. She feels that LeeAnne never apologized, and LeeAnne said that Bravo production told her she wasn’t allowed to reach out to Kary. Andy said that’s was not true, you can watch the clip on BravoTV.com.  An email was sent out two days prior, but Bravo did not step in until then.

Andy said that they had filmed the confessional interviews after wrapping up filming for the season and that LeeAnne made more of these comments during those interviews. She said she didn’t know what was going to air, but Andy said that was also not true, nor were her confessional interview comments said in the heat of the moment, and that producers were shocked.

LeeAnne’s fellow castmates expressed disappointment that LeeAnne never showed remorse about her behavior. Andy asked each of the ladies if they felt LeeAnne was racist, and they all said that they do, with the exception of Kameron Westcott.  Kameron said LeeAnne used “racial words” and “racial comments” but that she wasn’t going to stereotype her as a racist. LeeAnne said that she was ignorant and didn’t understand the power of her words.

The power of words

One viewer tweeted at Andy that she was disappointed that Stephanie Hollman had not called LeeAnne out on her words at the time. Stephanie agreed that she’d been too chicken to do so because of the state that LeeAnne was in at the moment and was disappointed in herself for that.

Kameron defended LeeAnne by saying that she is “human still, and humans make really bad, bad mistakes.” She was confident that LeeAnne would learn from this mistake. LeeAnne said that it was a mistake, she was ignorant, had educated herself, and that she would do better in the future. Even LeeAnne’s apologies seem belligerent and very in-your-face…
