The witch hunt is on for this episode of Below Deck. Rhylee Gerber is the only witch in Ashton’Pienaar’s sights, and he wants her gone.
The drama on Below Deck was in high gear last night, as always. Ashton Pienaar is doing an excellent job of being a total jerk to Rhylee Gerber, as always. The further we get into the season, the more I think Ashton really does have a problem with women. As Kate Chastain said, “I don’t hate Ashton, I just don’t respect him.”
While Ashton can barely look at Rhylee and Kate, he’s very focused on one of the attractive charter guests, whom he calls an “absolute cracker.” It must be lovely for Molly to get such special attention. Ashton says that he is tolerant and receptive to Rhylee when in reality, he is neither of those things. Rhylee mentioned that she didn’t feel comfortable coming to Ashton with her issues because he doesn’t listen to help her. Meanwhile, Ashton says she has an attitude and is insecure. Ashton, the king of deflection.
Captain Lee called Ashton to the sky deck (his new office) to discuss the issue with Rhylee. Ashton totally threw her under the bus and said because of her attitude, he’d like to get rid of Rhylee for the last six days. During the conversation, the deck crew is out on the deck talking about how Rhylee is like cancer to the group and Tanner Sterback is plotting to sleep with Kate, which garners all kinds of positive reactions. Classic.
While Captain Lee called everyone up to ask their opinions on the situation, Ashton only took issue with Kate’s comments because he wasn’t able to tell her what to say as he did with Brian de Saint Pern and Tanner. Check out what Captain Lee had to say about Ashton’s management on the Below Deck After Show.
Now Ashton is blaming the entire issue with Rhylee…on Kate. Rhylee said in her talking head, “You would rather fire me than help me?” That’s exactly what Ashton wants to do….but will Ashton get his way?
Below Deck is on Bravo every Monday at 9 PM ET.
