Real Housewives of Dallas: The biggest moments from part I of the reunion

Bravo kicked off the New Year with part one of The Real Housewives of Dallas reunion and we were not disappointed in all of the antics.

All six ladies were present for The Real Housewives of Dallas reunion part one, decked out in red or black gowns.  Check out a few of the highlights from the first part of the reunion. On one couch were Brandi Redmond and Stephanie Hollman in black, with LeAnne Locken in red seated in between them. On the other couch were Kameron Westcott and D’Andra Simmons in red, with Kary Brittingham in black in the middle.

Andy kicked off the questions by asking Brandi for an update on the impending adoption of her son Bruin’s sibling, and Brandi tearfully informed him that Bruin’s birth mom lost the baby. The Redmonds had been preparing to adopt the baby, and so they were all very sad about the miscarriage.

LeeAnne’s Wedding – Where was the food?

The wedding cost approximately $4,502,000. All of the donated services and items totaled about $4.5 million, and the ladies guessed that the other $2,000 was what LeeAnne actually spent on the food for her 300 guests.

There wasn’t a lot of food because LeeAnne thought if there was a big meal, no one would dance. Also, she and Rich Emberlin are used to eating dinner at 6 PM and didn’t think that people would want to eat so late in the evening (7:30 PM) Also, there was a 5-hour gap between the ceremony and reception because, LeeAnne said with a shrug, Bravo requires meals and breaks for the production team. Andy adamantly denied this.

Did Rich disrespect LeeAnne at their wedding reception?

If you recall, Rich made a comment to one of his wedding guests that he’d never seen so many hot women in one place. All of the ladies agreed that they would be very hurt and angry if their husbands said things like that on their wedding day. LeeAnne laughed off the comment, saying that Rich always jokes with her about her friends being very good looking.

Brandi revealed that Rich had made her feel very uncomfortable at the engagement party by making creepy grunting sounds while leering at her backside. LeeAnne claimed that Rich was doing this in reaction to D’Andra’s husband Jeremy asking whether Rich would rather have sex with Brandi or Stephanie. (Not sure how that makes it okay?)  She also claimed that Jeremy said he’d like to have sex with both women. D’Andra denied that, and Andy said if that had been picked up by the mics, Bravo would have used the clip.

D’Andra refused to voice an opinion about Rich’s behavior at the wedding but did confirm that she still believes Rich was unfaithful to LeeAnne. Rich sent both D’Andra and Jeremy a text insinuating that Jeremy had cheated on D’Andra, and LeeAnne claimed that Rich did this because he had lost jobs due to the cheating accusations.
