The Real Housewives of Dallas cast trip may have lasting repercussions for LeeAnne after her comments and behavior towards Kary.

After The Real Housewives of Dallas trip to Thailand, LeeAnne Locken’s behavior might have her job in jeopardy.  Once the group made it back to the hotel, LeeAnne flipped out while talking to Kameron Westcott.  LeeAnne was upset about the number of sex workers the women encountered while in the red light district.  She blamed Kary Brittingham for putting them in a bad situation so she could “prove how tough she is because she’s from Mexico.”

LeeAnne said that she didn’t think it was acceptable for people in Dallas society such as themselves to be in the red light district.  She made Kameron cry because she said her reputation was going to be ruined.  LeeAnne then blamed the whole night on Kary.  She said, “chirpy Mexican, I’m so great because I’m from Mexico.”

LeeAnne took to her Twitter last night and made a public statement apologizing for her comments, but the damage has been done.

On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen after the show, Andy Cohen flat out called LeeAnne’s comments racist and disgusting.  It sounds like at the season four reunion, things did not get any better for her.  There really isn’t any way to defend LeeAnne’s comments.  And to be fair, LeeAnne has been doubling down on her negative use of the word “Mexican” on Twitter.  It doesn’t matter if Kary is from Mexico, if she’s Mexican, if she changes her name to Chirpy Mexican – LeeAnne’s use of the word was meant in a negative way and that’s how she intended it.

It’s strange that LeeAnne is all about equality and protecting people from harm but went so hard against Kary for no reason.  It’s the exact opposite of what she preaches.  And I say this as a former LeeAnne Locken lover, but her comments and actions were unacceptable.  And if an apology is offered, Kary should have gotten a direct apology.  Not a good look for LeeAnne.  Is this the end of her RHOD ride?

The Real Housewives of Dallas is on Wednesdays at 9 PM ET on Bravo.
