RHONJ: The rumors about Teresa Giudice and the 21 year old

The RHONJ mom has been drowning in rumors about her personal life for years, but now the rumors about her boyfriend are being mentioned on the show.

RHONJ star Teresa Giudice has always been in the news, but since her husband, Joe Giudice, went away to prison for 41 months, there have been rumors about a boyfriend circulating.  After getting out of prison and going to an immigration center for a few months, Joe was deported back to Italy.  During their special, The Real Housewives of New Jersey Special Event: Joe and Teresa Unlocked, it was clear the marriage was not the same.

Now the rumors about Teresa and her younger boyfriend seem legitimate.  Teresa said she would not follow joe to Italy because their four daughters are all in school here, and their oldest daughter Gia just started college at Rutgers. Back in June, In Touch Weekly had photos of Teresa and the rumored 21-year-old, Blake Schreck.  In all of the photos, Teresa looks happy.  It’s undeniable.

But on last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Margaret Josephs struck a nerve.  While the ladies were out sampling various kinds of rum, she said about Teresa, “She likes a minimum age of 21. She doesn’t like jailbait.”  She was referring to the aged rum, but was clearly also referring to Blake.

Last night, there was a sign up at dinner that said, “A woman can have the body of a 21-year-old as long as she buys him a few drinks first.”  Well, that’s certainly relevant.  Teresa went on to say she was offended by what Margaret said because she knows that Marge usually thinks carefully before speaking. That’s true, but they were also sampling rum and things tend to slip out after a few rums.  The group keeps reference “the article,” which is potentially the one referenced above since it came out around the time the ladies were in Jamaica.  You can watch the clip here on BravoTV.com.

So, is Teresa dating Blake now that Joe is gone?  I guess only time will tell.  She deserves to be happy, especially if her husband is thousands of miles away and won’t be allowed back in the US, likely ever.  But was Marge out of line for bringing it up on camera, or was it about time they addressed the issue?
