The RHOC season isn’t over yet, but it sure seems like Bravo is rushing through it.  Check out the December reunion schedule.

The tweet, sent from the official Bravo account which has been since been deleted, said that the finale episode of RHOC will air on Tuesday, December 17, and then the reunion is from Wednesday, December 18 through Monday, December 23.  Part one will air on Wednesday, December 18, part two on Monday, December 23, and part three will air on Thursday, December 26, all at 10 PM.  The day after Christmas doesn’t seem like a big night for television.

A lot of shows generally take a break around this time due to the Holidays, but this seems the opposite.  The reunion filmed back in November, but if it was boring, why does it need three parts?  Why not make it one?  Why release in quick succession like that if it’s good?

It’s been rumored that Vicki Gunvalson is working her way back up to full-time status, but she definitely was not featured as much for the reunion.  Tamra Judge, Shannon Storms Beador, and Gina Kirschenheiter forming an alliance, and Emily Simpson, Kelly Dodd, and Braunwyn Windham-Burke on the other side of things.

Kelly Dodd has been in the news a lot lately, both for her engagement to Rick Leventhal, and just generally talking about her castmates.  After last week’s episode where she insulted Shannon and Gina’s hair extensions, could the season just be a dud?  According to TVbythenumbers.com, RHOC came in 25th for the adults 18-49 demographic from Nov. 11-17, 2019.  In contrast, RHOA came in 15th.  For November 4-11, RHOC came in 4th, RHOA was in 7th, and the RHONJ premiere was 8th for the adults 18-49 demographic.

That’s a 150% increase from the week before, according to the same site.  So by the numbers, the season isn’t doing awful – much to Vicki’s dismay.  The now-canceled Real Housewives of Miami suffered a similar fate right before Bravo gave it the ax.  Would that do that to a franchise that’s actually performing?

The Real Housewives of Orange County is on Bravo at 9 PM every Tuesday.
