Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa’s father slams Joe for not getting his citizenship
By Amanda Cline
The Real Housewives of New Jersey got real last night while Teresa’s father dropped some truth bombs over dinner and baklava.
If you can’t handle a little bit of Nono on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, get out of Teresa Giudice’s kitchen! Giacinto Gorga, more affectionately known as Nono, is Joe Gorga and Teresa Giudice’s father. He’s been living with the Giudice family for years since his wife passed away.
Joe Giudice called from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement center and Nono immediately asked with a smile, “You wanna come over and eat?” Joe says he would love to before Teresa asked if the girls could come to visit him.
That sent Joe off on a rant about his situation. It might be the first time we’ve seen one of them admit that Joe could actually be deported. “I’m here now, I’m getting deported, that’s all there is to it.” It is obvious all of his time locked up has started getting to him, but he still takes no responsibility for why he’s locked up.
Joe says he doesn’t see anyone walking out of the ICE detention center, everyone in there was being deported. Theresa says that since Joe’s actions are the reason they have been going through all of this for the last five years, the least he could do it sit there and fight for his family. Nono told Teresa, “I slap your husband. He never did nothing right. He did everything wrong. Six times I told him, go make a citizen.” Clearly, Joe did not listen to Nono or anyone else.
Teresa recently posted an article to her Instagram account stating that Nono has been in and out of the hospital due to undiagnosed issues, according to People. She even left BravoCon early to go be with him in the hospital. The stress put on the whole family has definitely taken a toll.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey is on Bravo Wednesday nights at 8 PM!
