Real Housewives of New Jersey: Our biggest takeaways from the book release

The Real Housewives of New Jersey go to a book signing and an obstacle course – but I think the book signing was probably harder to stomach.

Joe Giudice was transferred from the prison he was at to the ICE facility at 4:30 AM to avoid the paparazzi, according to Teresa.  The best part of the whole The Real Housewives of New Jersey episode was Mr. Joey Gorga’s book release party, which happened to be the same day as the party.

The RHONJ families love a book signing

Joe’s book, The Gorga Guide to Success: Business, Marriage, and Life Lessons from a Real Estate Mogul, is available on Amazon in both kindle and paperback versions.   Honestly, I thought this book was a 10-page pamphlet spread out over 169 pages, but some of the reviews are great.  “Hardest book to put down! Don’t be surprised if you read it one shot!”  Are we serious? Another called it inspirational!  What I’ve taken away from this is that anyone can write a book.

Despite that, the Giudice lawyer visits the home to explain the appeals process to the girls.  As we know, all of their appeals have been denied and Joe was deported.  He does still have an ongoing case going through the system but decided to wait it out in Italy.  It is sad watching these scenes knowing how it all unfolded.  Their biggest fear was Joe getting deported and that is exactly what happened.

Marge vs. Danielle

Margaret Josephs and Danielle Staub are back at it, while Danielle worms her way back into the RHONJ group via Teresa.  Margaret even called Danielle by her real name, which is Beverly!  I had no idea (I’m also not very well versed in Danielle).  Jennifer Aydin got into it with Danielle after the obstacle course but Danielle was having none of that either.  I’m not even sure what the point of Danielle’s presence on the show is.

My biggest takeaway from the obstacle course is that Danielle should probably change her name again before her 22nd engagement.  It might help conceal the past a little better.  Then again, maybe it draws the guys in!  I hear she’s back on the market.
