The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Hennessy, chicken wings, and cheating rumors

The Real Housewives of Atlanta episode gives us a glimpse into the lives of the ladies as their families grow and change.

The second episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta stepped right into the delicious drama that the franchise is famous for.  The first scene has Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams having lunch.  Porsha took the ordering upon herself and ordered a Coke and Hennessy, chicken wings, and hummus.  I’m letting her order for me from now on.  Porsha is denying the rumors “from the blogs,” but there seems to be more. “There’s all these rumors or cheating, drugs, and animals, and Dennis asked for the ring back?”  Yeah, ‘scuse me?

Kandi made a comment about how Porsha and Dennis McKinley might have jumped in to the whole baby thing too soon after starting their relationship and got some heat for her comment.  Unfortunately, Kandi might be right.  It seems that perhaps Porsha doesn’t know what kind of guy Dennis is, and based on the extreme rumors following him, she found out too late.  Porsha found out during a therapy session that Dennis did, in fact, cheat on her while she was pregnant.  “To be disrespected at the most sacred time in life is like, I just can’t forgive that.”

But he denied it all.  Back in June, Dennis even gave E! a statement where he said that the cheating rumors were “false and slanderous allegations.”  Apparently not.  And also apparently they’ve been working through it, based on Porsha’s Instagram post where she captioned it with some telling hashtags: #Fiance #TheMckinleys #Family #ThickNThin.

Last night, Porsha wasn’t even denying that she was pregnant in the episode.  She told Bravo recently that they were working on moving forward and are engaged.  We’re obviously just watching the start of their journey back to one another.

On the other hand, Kenya Moore and Marc Daly are going through their own growing pains.  Marc has had two children before and this is Kenya’s first child.  Though he isn’t even physically there, he seems to be telling her what to do and how to do it.
