Real Housewives of New York: Tinsley Mortimer is heading to Chicago…eventually

The Real Housewives of New York star, Tinsley Mortimer, says she eventually wants to move to Chicago to be with Scott Kluth.

After Tinsley Mortimer skipped out on filming for The Real Housewives of New York last week, fans were concerned she was done with the show.  Tinsley hasn’t opened up about it yet, but it sounds like she will be packing up and heading to Chicago…at some point.  Tinsley is still a full-time housewife as far as we know, but she could definitely be demoted if she doesn’t show up to film more events.  The franchise usually films through the holidays so it certainly isn’t too late.

But at what point?

Us Weekly says that Tinsley does hope to leave the show and head to Chicago once Scott proposes to her.  When will that be?  We have no idea.  Will it be filmed? We can only hope!  The source says, “She is moving for love,” but geez, talk about moving all your eggs to one basket (or city).

I wonder what is in store for Tinsley on next season’s RHONY.  She was seen filming and fighting with the new addition, Leah McSweeney, earlier this year.  But otherwise, Tinsley hasn’t been tagged in many social media posts with the cast.  She was spotted at one of the first filmed events back in September for New York Fashion Week.

At this point, if moving to Chicago is what makes Tinsley happen, then she should go for it.  Her and Scott’s relationship has been through a lot while on our televisions.  Sometimes it takes time to figure things out!

We definitely need her to do something with the frozen eggs so Dale Mercer, her mother, can hold and cry over a grandbaby and dress it in Tinsley’s ex-husband’s new wife’s shoes…obviously.
