Real Housewives of New Jersey: Biggest moments from the season 10 premiere
By Amanda Cline
The Real Housewives of New Jersey are back for their tenth season. Here are some of the biggest moments from last night’s premiere!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s last season premiered 364 days ago, and has long been anticipated to return to our screens. With the situation between Joe and Teresa Giudice all over the news, the Giudice family is back on TV, sans Joe. At the time of filming, Joe was about to be released from his prison sentence.
Gia Giudice, rising queen of the franchise, said she urged her father to fight his deportation of she would end her relationship with her dad. “I already told him, say you lose this appeal, you better fight it until the Supreme Court.” Joe did fight his appeals as much as he could, and is still in the process – though he’s in Italy now. Gia also seems to understand that her dad should have gained citizenship a long time ago. Teresa, Joe, and all four of their daughters reunited in Italy this week.
Checking in with the other families
Melissa Gorga is busy working on her store, Envy, and taking care of her kids. Melissa has always had a very hot and cold relationship with her sister-in-law, Teresa, but all of the cheating rumors surrounding her aren’t helping. Melissa says that is Teresa says she’s not cheating on Joe, then she’s not cheating on Joe. Once again, it seems like Melissa’s storyline will involve Teresa’s storyline.
Jennifer Aydin is baking with her family and her husband, Bill, is even home early to help. Jennifer is eager to show us all of her new liposuction, a gift from her husband. Her and Jackie Goldschneider had apparently gotten close in-between seasons, but Jennifer went and ruined that by impersonating Jackie on an Instagram story. Jackie tweeted last night that she considers such a video bullying.
Dolores Catania is still living with her ex-husband, Frank Catania, while dating her boyfriend, David Principe, who is also living with her ex-husband…You read that right! Dolores confirmed the news to Bravo, and reminded us the house is technically hers. Whatever, Dolores, that’s weird. Frankie is busy being the cover model for romance novels which I wholeheartedly accept. Go Frankie!
Margaret Josephs’ home has come together and she’s working on her Macbeth Collection. Marge Sr. has apparently flown the coop and gotten a new job in the city. Living her best life.
I had to turn my television down at least twice during the episode because of all the screeching, but the biggest takeaway I have from this episode – is that we are in for a wild, and incredibly tacky, Jersey ride.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey is on Bravo Wednesday nights at 8 PM!
