The Real Housewives of Dallas star has made her wedding her storyline this season, but how many parties can a girl have for a wedding before its too many?

The Real Housewives of Dallas is back, and LeeAnne Locken is back with another party before her actual wedding.  This wedding shower event is being hosted by Kameron Westcott and she keeps calling it “my wedding shower,” which is very on-brand for her.  Kary Brittingham didn’t get an invite to this party, which is also very on-brand for LeeAnne.

Can LeeAnne just get married already?

Stephanie Hollman RSVP’d that she was attending the shower, but apparently has something her son’s school that she is going to attend instead.  If Stephanie doesn’t want to attend a party, she doesn’t have to?  With the way Kameron has treated her lately, I wouldn’t want to go either.  But Kam took a huge offense to her absence, even though this isn’t even her wedding.  Kam took to Twitter last night to accuse Stephanie of sitting on her couch instead of attending the party.

Kam, you’re overreacting.  You would put your family first too (I hope). All that tweet proves is that Stephanie went to an event on the day of the party you planned.

The problem with parties

The problem here is not that LeeAnne is having multiple parties for each part of her wedding, but that she is having people host, attend, and spend money on parties and then not inviting them to the actual wedding party.

LeeAnne has hand-picked her wealthier friends to host events for her, while still planning them herself.  It definitely feels like a scheme to get what she wants out of her friends while not footing the bill.  Listen, I love LeeAnne.  But the delusion here is real.

LeeAnne called the party the most “elegant event” that was ever, and will ever, be thrown for her.  And that’s because no part of it was LeeAnne, it was all Kameron.  How many more events will we have to endure before we get to the actual wedding, where some of the RHOD cast wasn’t invited?  I mean, at least Brandi Redmond got a text, right?

The Real Housewives of Dallas is on Wednesdays at 9 PM ET on Bravo.
