Real Housewives of New Jersey: Check out the season 10 taglines and how we rate them

The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast is ramping up for the next season, and just dropped their taglines!  What do you think, are they weak or strong?

The Real Housewives of New Jersey are back on November 6, and People has all the taglines ahead of the premiere.  Not that anyone asked me to, but I’m going to rate them as I see fit.  RHONJ has never been the queen of franchises as far as taglines go, but they are normally pretty on-point for each wife.  For some reason, this season is a bit lackluster.

Check out all six taglines below:

First, we have The Marge, Margaret Josephs with, “If you can’t take the truth, sue me.”  I mean, okay Marge.  I’m giving this one a fail.  Asking anyone to sue you is just…asking someone to sue you.  After some of her past legal drama of actually being sued, I feel like you should just steer clear of such suggestions.

Next up we have Dolores Catania. “Behind every strong man is a stronger Jersey girl.”  That’s just categorically untrue, Dolores. Fail.   Jackie Goldschneider says, “Don’t let the minivan fool you. This mom won’t roll over for anyone.”  I’ll give this one a pass.  Minivans are safe, have stow and go seating, and probably won’t roll over, she’s right. Jennifer Aydin says, “As I always say, plastic makes perfect.”  Gross, Jennifer.  Also categorically untrue.  Fail.

Melissa Gorga is celebrating her 40th birthday this season and decided to commemorate that milestone with her tagline. “Mirror mirror on the wall, I don’t think I look 40 at all.”  I’ll give this a pass but it’s still not good.

And last but certainly not least, we have Teresa Giudice with “If you rub me the wrong way, they’ll be no more namaste.”  I mean, this is pretty on-brand for Teresa but my rating is: fail.

Overall, these get a D rating from me.

Now that we know we’re getting a one-on-one special with Joe Giudice, Teresa Giudice, and Andy this coming Sunday at 8 PM, I think we’re starting off on a dramatic foot.  What do you think of the taglines?  Am I being too harsh, or are they just as bad as I think they are?
