Vanderpump Rules: Kristen Doute is single again…I think

The Vanderpump Rules star has been hot and cold with her boyfriend/ex-boyfriend, Carter Brian, but it appears they are done again.

The Vanderpump Rules girls made it very clear they don’t like Kristen Doute’s boyfriend, Carter Brian (more commonly referred to as just Carter) because he was grumpy and did not contribute anything to their relationship (like rent, which is pretty important).

The cast had a pretty big falling out after Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartright’s wedding after Kristen brought Carter as her date.  Kristen was even noticeably absent from the engagement parties for Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark, even though she introduced the couple.

In her Instagram post, Kristen explains that it isn’t easy to go from being a couple to being…not a couple, but it is what is best for them- I think.  Kristen says, “Carter and I both know and have come to terms that our new label is friends – full of the utmost love and respect.”  The only Vanderpump Rules star that liked the post was Brittany.

Though her friends are probably a little more vocal than most, and all of their issues and arguments turn into storylines for the hit show they are on, Kristen did not appear happy.  Her friends were concerned that Carter didn’t work and didn’t contribute anything to their relationship – monetary or otherwise. Kristen has been busy at work with her t-shirt company, James Mae, which seems to be doing well.

A lot of the cast was missing from her more recent events, but hopefully, they will be there to support her for the next one.  Friends don’t always like your boyfriend, but they will always support you – even if from afar.  The Witches of WeHo will ride on…..I think.

Vanderpump Rules is currently filming for the eighth season on Bravo.
