As The Real Housewives of Potomac season 4 comes to a close, Gizelle Bryant seems to have a new, but old, love interest.

OnThe Real Housewives of Potomac seasons past, we’ve seen Gizelle Bryant struggle with her romantic relationships on the show.  Her last boyfriend, Sherman, was incredibly shady both on and off-screen.  There were tons of rumors flying about him, his business ventures, and his romantic ventures too.  He refused to be on screen and continuously bailed on Gizelle last minute when they were slated to attend events together.

But then Jamal reappeared.  Jamal has never been on the RHOP, but has been mentioned in passing.  He is a pastor at a major nearby megachurch and the father of Gizelle’s three children frequently featured on the show.

The evidence points to yes

Dave Chapelle, the comedian, has recently made a triumphant return ot stand-up comedy on the Netflix platform.  If you watch his most recent set, Sticks and Stones, very closely, you’ll see some familiar faces.  Andy Cohen appears at some point, and during various times throughout the set, you can see Gizelle and Jamal sitting front and center.

On part one of the reunion, Andy asked Gizelle if the rumors about her and Jamal were true and she confirmed it.  Gizelle mentioned they have been back together and trying to make it work for a while now.  He is the father of her three children, Grace (age 14), and their twins, Angel and Adore (age 13) and has always remained in their lives.

Times are changing…hopefully

When RHOP first came on the air, there was definitely some bad blood between the two exes.  Jamal even made Gizelle stop referring to him by name on camera.  Jamal had previously cheated on Gizelle which ultimately led to their breakup.

In closing, good for Gizelle!  She has had a lack of luck with men during her time on the show and it is clear Jamal and Gizelle only want what’s best for their family – which just happens to be a rekindling of their relationship….for now.

The Real Housewives of Potomac is on Sundays at 8 PM ET on Bravo.
