Bravo: Most shocking housewife salaries – Who is getting overpaid?

Bravo has had a lot of entering and exiting housewives in the past year, and salaries are a huge part of that.  Who do you think makes the most of any housewife, and are they worth it?

In true housewives fashion, a lady never kisses and tells. Or in this case, a Bravo housewife never discusses her salary.  Cue Dorinda Medley saying, “Money talks. Wealth whispers.” Either way, we can discuss them from secondhand sources, right?

Before they just “friends”

Before Vicki Gunvalson was demoted, she was making more than $1 million a season.  She was earning around $60,000 an episode, but now that she is in a friend role, she will only earn $20,000 for each episode she appears in (which won’t be all of them).  That’s like, a lot, of little family vans.

Lisa Vanderpump, formerly of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, was pulling in $500,000 a season, according to Money.com.  I have to imagine it was more in her last season as well.  That’s not including the salary she presumably made and will continue to make, from Vanderpump Rules.

Tamra Judge was reportedly making $600,000 for previous seasons, but one can assume she got a pay bump with the demotion of Vicki.

Does the big apple pay more?

Ramona Singer of The Real Housewives of New York allegedly brings in $500,000 a season.  I believe this is slightly outdated, but perhaps Ramona will get a salary bump with the loss of Bethenny?

Bethenny Frankel of The Real Housewives of New York City has her SkinnyGirl empire and many other endeavors, including her bstrong initiative, but Bethenny was reportedly earning $1 million a season before walking away.  Bethenny has said before she earned less than $10,000 for her first season on the show.

New season, new salary

Denise Richards signed a contract to earn her $4 million over four seasons, the same amount Bethenny was making.

Rumor has it that Nene Leakes made more than $2 million for season 10 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.  The RHOA ladies are generally some of the highest-paid wives on the channel.  According to Radar, they will collectively be making over $10 million dollars for the upcoming season 12.

Nene signed another three-season contract and will be pulling in  $2.85 million for season 12.  Kandi Burruss is slated to make $2.3 million, and Kenya Moore is taking a huge pay cut, going from $1.5 million to $500k for the season.
