Real Housewives of New York: Most shocking reunion moments for season 11

The Real Housewives of New York finally wrapped up the eleventh season with the last part of the reunion.

The final part of The Real Housewives of New York reunion is upon us.  Ramona Singer immediately goes in on Luann de Lesseps saying that she believes Luann is still drinking.  Andy also jumps in and says to Luann, “Can you understand why the ladies think you aren’t taking your sobriety seriously?”

What could possibly give them the indication Luann isn’t taking her sobriety seriously?

Later in the reunion, Luann says that she has been cast in the Broadway show, Chicago, and that Barbara can “shove that up her a–.”  Barbara says, “You’re not Adele, Luann.”

In all seriousness, this was one of the better reunions we’ve gotten from a franchise.  With Luann being gone last season, a lot was left unsaid and carried into the current season.

In the middle of the conversation, Luann asks andy what time it is because she needs to blow into her SCRAM Continuous Alcohol Monitoring device to ensure she hasn’t been drinking.  The website says this device is for “For high-risk, hardcore DUI and alcohol offenders.”  So even if Luann isn’t taking her sobriety seriously, her parole officer is.

A trip down memory lane

Ramona goes on to discuss her family and the visit to upstate New York.  The ladies were very close to where Ramona grew up, and even visited the restaurant where Ramona had dinner after her mother passed away.

At one point, all of the ladies offer their love and hugs to Barbara Kavovit.  I actually really enjoyed Barbara’s presence on this season of RHONY.  She provided lobsters for Ramona to steal, she was a good friend to Luann even though Luann rejected her most of the time, and she brought back wrap dresses and tool kits.

There is clearly a lot of love in this franchise, and a lot of egos fighting for screen time.  Luann thinks she is the number one girl in this group, but I think she needs to take a step back and re-prioritize.  The entire season has been very Luann heavy, which she definitely loved, but it wasn’t in a good way.

Representatives for Chicago deny that Luann is joining Chicago as Mama Morton, apparently due to “scheduling conflicts.”

The Real Housewives of New York will be back next year on Bravo.
