RHONY: What’s Up With Luann’s Countess and Friends Cabaret?
By Amanda Cline
Rumors have been swirling around Luann de Lesseps and the fate of her Countess and Friends Cabaret, but now things are, well, still swirling.
Early last week, Countess Luann de Lesseps of The Real Housewives of New York announced more dates for her Countess and Friends Cabaret show.
Late last week, people started getting cancellation notices for the Friday, September 13th show in San Diego. Tickets only went on sale for this show on June 14th!
The Ticketmaster page for the San Diego show reads:
"This event has been canceled.Refunds at Point of Purchase only. Internet & Phone orders will automatically be canceled & refunded."
Tickets for similar shows in August are between $50 and $80 for a ticket. The closest show is June 28, this Friday at The Masonic in San Francisco, and have many center floor tickets available for $20. What’s odd is that the back balcony seats are also $20. There’s a lot of seats available at many of her shows.
On Sunday, Luann posted this video of her on a boat to her Instagram:
In the comments, many people were asking about the Tulsa, Oklahoma show that was supposed to take place that night.
One user said, “You were supposed to be in Tulsa Oklahoma tonight! I had tickets so sad it was canceled!”
Lu responded, “Sending you love! Re-booking the show soon 💕”
Another commenter said the area had flooded and the show was canceled by the venue. Tulsa has been hit by a lot of flooding lately, as I write this, the area is under a flash flood warning. So, I’m giving Lu a pass for this canceled show.
Conspiracy theories
You can find tickets for her Huntington, New York show on Saturday, August 4 on Groupon. Interestingly enough, the price is listed at $65.50 per ticket but lists the show as sold-out. It also indicated more than 130+ tickets were purchased.
Luann has been noted as being very selfish lately, only wanted to talk about herself and her cabaret. I wonder if her ticket sales are taking a hit?
Anyway, I’m going to take off my tin foil hat and just accept that there might have been an issue due to the date or the venue, but I’ll be interested to see if any other shows get canceled in the near future.
Real Housewives of New York will be back next Wednesday at 9 PM ET on Bravo for the season finale.
