RHONJ: The Housewives React to Joe’s Deportation News
By Amanda Cline
Teresa Giudice and The Real Housewives of New Jersey react to Joe Giudice’s recent deportation news.
Earlier today, BravoTV.com posted a new video of Teresa Giudice and the rest of the Real Housewives of New Jersey ladies reacting to Joe’s deportation news.
Dolores Catania says that this deportation news has, “Ripped the rug out from under them.”
Teresa Giudice completed her 11-month sentence prior to Joe starting his 41-month sentence in March of 2016 for bankruptcy fraud and failure to file income tax returns. Last October, a court ruled Joe was to be deported back to his home country of Italy. Joe was born in Saronno, Italy, but hasn’t lived there for decades.
Unfortunately for Joe, he never applied for formal citizenship and has committed, and been convicted of, many serious crimes.
The true victims of his crimes are his daughters
His daughters have been very vocal about wanting their father back home. Teresa Giudice was very vocal in the beginning but has said she will not follow Joe to Italy if he does get deported.
His four daughters are all older now, Gia (age 18), Gabriella (age15), Milania (age 14), and Audriana (age 10) and expected their dad to come home after he served his sentence. Since he was released this March, he’s been in ICE custody. Joe has been quoted as saying ICE custody is much worse than the 41 months he spent in prison.
Back in May, Joe was granted approval to stay in the US during the rest of his deportation battle, according to People.
Oldest daughter Gia has even started a petition to get the attention of President Trump, so far, 98,261 have signed.
"My father is there for us in every possible way a father could be. He has always been our handyman, our confidont, our cheerleader, our challenger and most importantly our protector. This would rob us of my father screaming from the stands at our graduations, meeting our future husbands for the first time, of walking us down the aisle, of being there when his grandchildren come into the world. Please use your voice, your power and your signature to help keep my family together."
“They should have their daddy here,” Teresa says.
This father’s day, Gia posted an Instagram tribute to her father, Joe.
Filming for The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 10 began in March of this year, right before Joe was released from prison. Rumor has it they’ve been filming all of the action since before Joe was transferred to ICE custody, and it will be shown in the upcoming season.
Filming has been dramatic as always, but rumor has it Teresa is staying out of it for now. Her segments focus on her life with the girls and dealing with the mess Joe left behind.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 10 is slated to air on Bravo TV later this year.
