Below Deck Mediterranean: “Pardon Your French,” the crew is BACK!
By Amanda Cline
The Below Deck Mediterranean crew is back on the mega yacht “Sirocco,” this time in the French Riviera. Grab your dramamine and meet me in the galley.
Captain Sandy Yawn is happy to be back in the French Riviera with Below Deck Mediterranean, where everyone shows off. Take a look at this seasons crew below (deck) to see who is back, and who is new.

On to the drama
There are a lot of accents on this Below Deck Mediterranean boat, with people from: Zimbabwe (did you know?), Siberia/Russia, New Zealand, Republic of Georgia, Australia (Perth and Sydney), Liverpool, and even exotic Fort Lauderdale. I look forward to reading the subtitles.
Mila Kolomeitseva comes on a little strong and says something along the lines of “I’ve never seen a captain that looks like that before!” Whatever that means. Sandy gives the camera two thumbs up in her camera confessional.
João Franco even claims that Brooke Laughton cheated on him after visiting Zimbabwe, but Brooke denies it.
Colin is just there, being as cute and lovely as ever.
The other deckhands are just doing their thing, cleaning windows, smoking cigarettes, the usual. I am looking forward to seeing Aesha and Anastasia working under Hannah.
Almost as soon as they get on Sirocco, chef Mila gets sick. Mila says she ate some bad shrimp pasta and is not feeling well. It reminds me of Kasey Cohen last season, except, this chef probably cooked her own shrimp pasta.
The charter guests arrive
The charter guests are already pleased because at dinner, the table is set with “rocks.” One of the guests is pleased because she likes rocks, even though she did not put rocks on her preference sheet.
Once she is well(er), Mila shows us her stuff in the kitchen. The good news is, that I apparently can cook like a yacht chef, because I have Old El Paso Stand ‘N Stuff™ taco shells in my pantry.
“Seeing the tacos is very disturbing,” Sandy says.
The chef continues to make dinner. She makes some beef tacos (just shells and beef with sour cream), chicken enchiladas (???), nachos (chips, tomatoes, corn and cheese), then she cooks some steaks and pops them in the microwave.
The charter guests are some of the most polite people I’ve ever seen on Bravo. However, they have not received the steaks yet.
Third Stew Anastasia says she has some experience cooking on a boat before, methinks she might be getting bumped up to chef if the meals continue to include warm canned corn.
If you aren’t watching Below Deck Med, we urge you to start. If for nothing else other than the use of microwaves and canned corn. I can’t wait to see what Mila cooks up next week. This show is a gift.
Below Deck Mediterranean is back next Monday at 9 PM ET on Bravo!
