The Real Housewives of Potomac are off to New Orleans this episode of RHOP, aptly titled, “The Wig Easy.”  Pack your finest pink wigs and masquerade masks.

Once again, the Michael Darby situation it fairly anti-climatic.  They show some more footage from last week’s Real Housewives of Potomac party that was on Robyn Dixon’s cell phone, but she won’t actually repeat what he said.

Perhaps she is protecting her husband Juan Dixon, in addition to trying to work on her relationship with Ashley Darby.  So silent she stays, for now at least.  I’m sure there is some interesting footage we won’t ever see, as well.

At some point, the allegations are going to come out and they are going to have to address it, I would assume.  Candiace Dillard Bassett keeps saying she has some interesting “tidbits” about the Michael situation, but she has yet to share those tidbits.

Anyway…

Gizelle is instructed to journal her feelings. Then she decides a trip to New Orleans is in order.

She invited all of the Real Housewives of Potomac housewives, and even Katie Rost.

Karen Huger invites Candiace to go to the dentist with her for some kind of weird outing, in addition to a ride home.

Before their trip and after the dentist, Karen and Gizelle head off to the Ubiquitous Women’s Expo where Gizelle is showcasing EveryHue Beauty.  It appears their repaired friendship wont last for too long.

Off to New Orleans

The Real Housewives of Potomac cast is off to New Orleans for a short trip.   Monique Samuels is six months pregnant for this cast trip, what a trooper.

Gizelle has Katie staying in the presidential suite with her.  She claims it is to keep an eye on her. Unsure, but Katie promptly goes out to smoke and puts on a masquerade mask to do so.

The ladies go to New Orleans School of Cooking, where they are going to teach them how to cook, and even eat, some traditional New Orleans Cajun / Creole foods.

They make some alligator sauce piquante, which has some alligator, a tomato based sauce, and some white rice. They have a lovely meal before it dissolves into an argument between Gizelle and Karen.  Again.

In the next episode, it seems like Karen leaves New Orleans early after her argument with Gizelle.  The whole trip is probably overwhelming after the loss of her parents, so it is understandable if she can’t handle all of the drama.  I guess we will find out next week.
