The Real Housewives of Potomac star, Candiace Dillard, spills on the upcoming drama of season 4, her wedding, and her relationships with ladies on the show.

Candiace Dillard sat down with AOL recently for an interview about The Real Housewives of Potomac season 4.

This is the second season of RHOP for Candiace, and she finally married her husband, Chris Bassett, on last weeks episode.  Her first season and the two three episodes of this season were spent painstakingly planning her wedding – now we get to see that it was worth all the tears and arguments!

Candiace Dillard told AOL:

"I feel like as a Housewife, you go through the entire living of your lives during filming, then we go on a break and there’s this period where we get started again when it airs and, in my mind, I’m already a season 2 vet with the season being done. But, remembering that the audience is still getting to know me and sees me as Candiace in her first season and just adjusting my thinking to that and realizing I still have to be patient, takes some time. There is a lot of growth that happens with me and there are many colors of me."

Tonight’s episode has the rest of the wedding, and then the real drama with Ashley Darby and her husband Michael, begins.  Candiace mentions in the interview that her relationship with Ashley takes the most work this season.

Ashley definitely has a rough season with everything going on with Michael and the allegations against him.  The charges have since been dropped, but most of the immediate reactions were caught on film for this season.

Attention: vague statements ahead

On tonight’s episode, we hear Michael say something about hoping his mic didn’t catch what he said.  Last week, he said something about wanting to grab Ray Huger’s butt.  Unfortunately for him, it sounds like Robyn Dixon heard his inappropriate comments even though his mic did not.  What he might have said is too inappropriate to post here, but tune in tonight to hear Robyn explain what she heard.

Unsure what this means for Michael, or Ashley, but based on her most recent Instagram post, she doesn’t seem too worried about it.

Ashley is due with their first child in July, so we hope re-living all of this isn’t too stressful for her and the baby.  We also hope this helps put all of this behind her, but it looks like it is going to get worse before it gets better.

Moving forward

Candiace goes on to tell AOL:

"“This is a trite thing to say, but this really is the best of “Potomac.” Everybody reaches a new echelon of enlightenment. There are some shifts in friendships, but the backdrop to that is going to be fun to watch.”"

We love when our housewives grow up before our eyes.  Of course, this must come with some messiness before the caterpillar becomes the butterfly, or whatever.  Either way, we are loving The Real Housewives of Potomac so far this season and can’t wait to watch the rest.

Also, Katie Rost is back tonight – don’t miss it!
