Southern Charm has become known for personalities such as Shep Rose, who is well-educated, wealthy, and (ahem) wise to the ways of dating in a game of mix-and-match musical chairs.

Now some fans believe that the time has come for Shep Rose to settle down with one particular star in particular.

And an upcoming wedding for two Vanderpump Rules stars could provide the ideal occasion for a hookup.

Kathryn Dennis, Shep Rose have an interesting history

Shep and Kathryn Dennis have a long history, with both coming from families who have impressive Southern histories.

As such, Rose and Dennis have something in common in understanding what it means to carry on the traditions of Charleston, South Carolina. They’re also both attractive and, as viewers have seen on the show, know the importance of a sense of humor.

Kathryn faced, at one point, shunning from almost every member of the Southern Charm cast, including baby daddy Thomas Ravenel, with only Shep as her defender.

The two have dated occasionally, and shared that they both enjoy discussing literature.

While Kathryn is now a mom who adores her kids, we think that Shep has the potential to be a doting dad. And we’re not the only Southern Charm fans who would like to see Dennis and Rose together.

Rose has shared that he’s been invited to the upcoming Vanderpump Rules wedding, reported Cheat Sheet.

Turning to Twitter, Shep asked for input on who should be his date.

And the social media platform lit up with suggestions that Rose take Kathryn.

“You should take Kathryn,” urged one fan.

“I think @KathrynDennis would be a fine date for you,” chimed in another.

Some hoped that the wedding would be filmed for Vanderpump Rules and/or Southern Charm.

“Can’t wait to see this cross over take Kathryn,” tweeted a follower.
