Southern Charm cast stars return, y’all, for season 6: Bless you, but it’s already the hot mess express

Southern Charm season 6 is set to premiere on May 15. Almost the entire cast is returning, with rumors that are looking like we’re on the hot mess express again!

Southern Charm is our favorite Bravo show, y’all.

From that magical music (“ba-ba-doo…he’s got more honeys, than any honeybee”) to those sights of Charleston, South Carolina, at its best, it’s gotta watch reality TV.

But sometimes, as we predict will happen in season 6, which premieres on May 15, that reality becomes a little too real (looking at you, Ashley Jacobs).

First up, let’s prepare you for that hot mess express by making sure you know when to board (ba-ba-doo).

Southern Charm season 6 will unveil its first episode on May 15,  at 8 p.m. ET, according to Oprah.

So who can you anticipate will return?

• Craig Conover: We’ve watched Craig go from admitting he lied (“I graduated from law school…uh, well, no I didn’t”) to confessing his fondness for sewing (“Want some treats, Gizmo, but get off my sewing machine”) to being a loving cat dad to the Giz (okay, we admit it: We’d watch a spin-off featuring Craig and Gizmo).
• Kathryn Calhoun Dennis: Has any reality TV star ever transformed herself more than Kathryn? At first, she was seen as the hussy with the hair, swearing constantly and shocking everyone with her antics. But becoming a mom changed everything for Dennis, and now we’re all (well, except for villainess Ashley) on Team Kathryn!.
• Austen Kroll: This dude bro started out as Shep Rose’s buddy, playing up Shep’s more endearing qualities while following him around like a puppy. But that quickly changed when Chelsea Meissner entered the scene. We hope that season 6 sees Austen mature.

• Naomi Olindo: Best part of Naomi: Her love for cats. Worst part of Naomi: Her meanness to Craig. Can we get a more multi-dimensional view of Olindo in season 6, or at least more cats on camera?

Most anticipated return to Southern Charm: Cameran Eubanks and Shep Rose

Who do we love most on Southern Charm? It’s a toss-up between Cameran Eubanks, who plays the Voice of Reason in explaining concepts such as the Peter Pan boys of Charleston…and Shep Rose, who we at times love to hate and at times just love (Shep defended Kathryn long before the others).

We’re looking forward to seeing Cam as a mom to daughter Palmer and Rose continuing his mission of, well, learning to adult (good luck with that one, Craig).

Most questionable future on Southern Charm:  Thomas Ravenel and Ashley Jacobs

Although Ravenel and Calhoun Dennis are parents to two precious kids, son St. Julien, 3, and daughter Kensington, 5, we saw more last season about Thomas’ then gal pal Ashley Jacobs than we did about his co-parenting.

Ashley at times was horrifying, snubbing Kathryn as an “egg donor.”

Bravo has confirmed that Thomas is off the show in the wake of an arrest for assault and battery. He also has faced sexual assault allegations.

Jacobs will make a cameo appearance, while cast members in the “friends” cateogry include Whitney Sudler-Smith, Patricia Altschul, Danni Baird, and Jennifer Snowden. Southern Charm will also welcome a new cast member, Eliza Limehouse.
