Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Grilling me softly recap

Episode 13 of Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills finds the ladies voluntarily camping. Is the camping life the life for the RHOBH ladies? I’m going with no.

Before their departure on the largest RV I’ve ever seen, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ladies must pack! Are the ladies going with “only the essentials” or “all of the essentials” for this adventure?

Lisa Rinna packed wire cutters, a hair dryer and an entire bottle of lotion for one night of camping.

Dorit Kemsley brought her pretend accents, some Chanel gear, and nothing of actual use.

Kyle Richards hates ticks so she packed an EpiPen, band-aids, and a machete.

Once at the grocery store, Erika Jayne grabs chicken wings and cheez whiz.  They also got some Fireball, bags of chips, water for an entire century, hummus and enough hot dogs to sustain them through the summer.

Camp RHOBH

Erika Jayne is helping Lisa Rinna move their bags into the tent when she says, “Rinna, what is in this bag? A dead body? Vanderpump?”  If you hadn’t noticed yet, Lisa Vanderpump is still not filming with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ladies.

These campgrounds have luxury tents, a masseuse, a rock climbing wall and a perplexing grill.  Even a peacock!

Once the ladies get settled, Denise Richards, Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley take on the task of grilling.  They decide that oil is not necessary to grill.  The spatula is about 2 square inches and made of plastic. Last but not least, Denise lets us know she was a vegetarian for a decade prior to this.  Grilling goes as well as you can imagine it did, until someone else took over.

Once the ladies sit down to dinner, they discuss Camille Grammer’s upcoming wedding.  She has invited Lisa Vanderpump, but has not heard back from her yet.

It’s all downhill from here

Dorit feels it is the right time to get into their nightly argument.  The RHOBH ladies discuss PK and Kyle’s fight some more.  Teddi Mellencamp and Camille go at it about planted storylines and how Teddi “insinuates” herself into situations.  Poor LLAJ (Lucy Lucy Apple Juicy) deserves a diamond after all this drama surrounding her.  They go around in circles for a bit at the picnic tables before heading off to bed.

Two things we love:  Kyle Richards’ pranking all of the ladies with scary fake rats and spiders in their tents, and Erika Jayne eating pumpkin pie straight out of the package with a side of crackers and cheez whiz. For breakfast.

The episode ends with the girls singing Kumbaya on the RV on the way home from camping.  We bet this happy feeling wont last long…
