That’s the question amid several new reports that the Countess is struggling with sobriety and reportedly in denial about her alcohol addiction.
Luann de Lesseps probation officer’s rumored report is a shocker
Luann de Lesseps’ probation officer reportedly has recommended that the RHONY star head back to rehab, according to The Blast.
After failing an alcohol test last month, Luann told her probation officer that she drank two mimosas following her cabaret performance. De Lesseps was supposed to be attending two AA meetings every week under the rules of her probation.
The probation resulted from Luann reportedly kicking a cop, among other issues. However, now the probation officer reportedly feels that de Lesseps is in “denial” about her alcohol issues.
“Since being placed on supervision only a total of 5 AA Meetings have been submitted to the state of Florida,” per the documents that the Blast obtained.
It’s a dramatic contrast to Lala Kent. The Vanderpump Rules star has praised Alcoholics Anonymous and expressed gratitude for her sobriety.
Luann de Lesseps faces scolding from probation officer
The officer’s report per the media outlet states that de Lesseps is not following through with the “conditions” of her probation. Luann allegedly was offered various options for treatment but “made excuses as to why she could not participate.”
Moreover, the officer’s report contended that de Lesseps “has not made herself an active participant in her rehabilitation and shows signs of denial that she has a sobriety issue.”
Therefore, Luann faces a recommendation that she be “ordered to complete a 4-week outpatient treatment and she is fitted with an alcohol ankle monitoring device.” A court hearing is scheduled for later this month.
The deal that de Lesseps originally faced including pleading guilty to battery, trespassing, and disorderly intoxication. Her conditions included fines, 50 hours of community services, two AA meetings weekly, avoid alcohol, and undergo random drug testing.
