This week’s Vanderpump Rules finale, Rules of Engagement, was a doozy! The time has come for the extravagant enchanted engagement party for Jax Taylor and his bride to be, Brittany Cartwright.

What would a Vanderpump Rules party be without some drama and beer cheese?

Brittany and Jax both wore all white for the occasion, Brittany in a lovely asymmetrical dress and Jax in a white shirt, pants, and sneakers, paired with a black belt.  We can only assume he tore off his white belt in a fit of happiness prior to the event!

Recently, we’ve met some of Jax and Brittany’s family members on the show.  Oddly enough, Brittany’s dad doesn’t seem thrilled at some of the past indiscretions of his future son-in-law.  If Brittany’s dad has ever turned on the television, perused social media, or even spoke to Jax, we can understand why he doesn’t like him.

What about the rest of the Vanderpump Rules cast?

Though this finale was mostly Jax-and-Brittany-centric, Scheana managed to snag a few minutes of the spotlight.

She adopted her non-boyfriend a penguin at the aquarium and named her Spott.  Before she even had a chance to give him the gift, they had a conversation.

The conversation they had went something like this:

Scheana: Do you love me?

Adam: No.

Scheana: Answer me!

Adam: I just did! No!

Scheana: SO YOU DON’T LOVE ME?

Somehow, Scheana remains confused on whether or not Adam loves her.  One thing we do know, is that the penguin cost $1,000.   I would be mad too.

The rest of the cast was definitely feeling the love this episode.  Stassi and Beau seemed very happy, Tom and Katie discussed having a baby, even James and Raquel talked about having a baby.  Then James asked Raquel to pay for dinner. They grow up so fast!

It comes to an end

The season, and the engagement party, ended with Lisa Vanderpump funneling a beer.  This season was definitely an interesting one, filled with love and feuding between the whole cast.

There was a serious attempt to ice out James and Raquel, but I have a feeling they will be back in the mix a lot more next season.

Next up, we have the wedding of the summer at the Kentucky Castle.  Will there be tea towels?  Will Jax clean up the property the day after with the help of his hungover friends? We can’t wait to find out.

What did you guys think about this season’s finale? Are you excited for the Cauchi Cartwright nuptials? Would you rather attend a puppy shower? Let us know in the comments.
