Andy Cohen responds to a fan who threw shade at the Real Housewives king for missing out on Lisa Vanderpump’s Las Vegas Cocktail Garden event.

Andy Cohen, also known as the King of the Real Housewives for his role in creating the franchise and orchestrating all those reunions (So. Many. Reunions. So. Much. Shade), now has to take time to respond to a fan’s brouhaha over Cohen’s absence from Lisa Vanderpump’s Las Vegas grand opening.

Okay, maybe he didn’t have to take the time to respond, but that fan clearly pushed one of Andy’s buttons in labeling him biased. Ouch!

Andy Cohen asserts he’s not biased against Lisa Vanderpump

So who are you calling biased? When a fan threw shade at Cohen for skipping Lisa Vanderpump’s cocktail garden opening in Las Vegas, the commentator called Andy biased, reported Us Weekly.

“Shame on you @Andy. Your bias is showing big time,” write the fan to Cohen.

The commentator continued to question why Andy wasn’t seen at Lisa’s “extravagant Caesar’s Palace restaurant opening,” insisting that Vanderpump “deserves to be respected especially from you. Disgusting!”

Well, we’ve got a few defenses ourselves as far as Cohen is concerned. Why should Andy “especially” respect Lisa over the other Real Housewives? And why is this particular fan so insistent about this “extravagant” restaurant opening (is the fan actually Lisa or one of her staff hiding behind the social media screen of anonymity?)?

However, Cohen doesn’t need us to defend him.

Andy Cohen claps back

The 50-year-old new dad pointed out that he has a baby boy to tend and a reunion to orchestrate, asking, “Is that disgusting too?”

Andy watched as his new son, Benjamin, arrived in the world via surrogate on February 4. It was instant love, revealed Cohen on Instagram.
