The latest episode of The Real Housewives of New York City (RHONY): Making Up Is Hard To Do, finds us discussing the Jovani fight. Again.

As this week’s RHONY begins, we join the housewives at Sonja Morgan‘s Paper Magazine party, Luann de Lesseps and Dorinda Medley interact for the first time. It is understandably awkward, but Luann perseveres and talks about her bad hair day to break the ice. Bethenny Frankel says that Luann feels that she has the upper hand in this argument, and eventually walks away without an apology.

In contrast to the rest of the episode, Ramona Singer approaches Bethenny first thing and apologizes for her comments about Dennis Shield’s passing in the last episode.

Part of Luann’s storyline this season is about life after her arrest. She has a parole officer now, and she is doing community service in a food kitchen. She has some issues properly ladling soup into containers, and some more issues following instructions.

Luann’s inability to follow instructions is partly why she is ladling soup in the first place. At the end of her shift in the kitchen, she is caught sampling the soup. I’m pretty sure this is against like, every rule possible, but Lu doesn’t care. Luann does what Luann wants.

Eventually, Bethenny invites some of the RHONY ladies to a “gangster lunch” in the hopes that they will work through it. That is not what happens. We get deep into some paranormal design consequences, but still no apologies are offered. Once Luann arrives, the RHONY ladies jump in by discussing the shape of Luann’s new house.

“Well, they say it’s good Feng shui to have a round house,” Luann says. “You know, animals live in round things, live in trees. Indians live in teepees. Eskimos live in igloos.” Dorinda responds, “predators can’t get to you because you need a corner!” I think the predators are all at this lunch, corners or not.

Dorinda says a few things: she loves Luann; she wants to work it out; she cares for her; she wants what’s best for her; she repeats those again. Luann says she wants to move forward. Bethenny begs Dorinda to admit she “heckled the Jovani,” Dorinda says, “I don’t think I did.” She gives no apologies. They truce with an iced tea cheers and a hug. Lunch ends.

When Barbara Kavovit goes to Dorinda’s to discuss a renovation of the apartment with many corners, Dorinda accuses her of drinking the Luann Kool-Aid. Barbara only wants Dorinda to take responsibility for her actions in the Jovani argument and simply apologize.

In her interview, Barbara says, “If I’m drinking Kool-Aid, Dorinda is sniffing glue.” And with that, she kicks her out. The episode ends without any further resolution for the Real Housewives of New York.

The Real Housewives of New York City airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.

Do you guys think Dorinda will ever get over it and apologize? Do you think Luann will ever forgive Dorinda? Let us know in the comments!
