Why We’re Excited for RHONY Season 11

The Real Housewives of New York are back for another dramatic season, starting March 6 on Bravo.  From cabaret shows, jail cells, and every hotel bar in between, we can’t wait to get back to the streets of New York City. 

From the season preview, there is lots of love between the RHONY cast members, but that will no doubt turn to fighting by the first dirty martini.  Last season’s fight between Dorinda Medley and Luann de Lesseps regarding the Jovani fashions seems to have carried well into this season.

One thing there doesn’t appear to be a lot of, is apologizing from Dorinda.  She is refusing to say sorry for the heckling incident at Luann’s cabaret shows last season.  Will Dorinda concede and apologize so they can move on? Wow, Dorinda, wow.

Ramona Singer, self-proclaimed maven of anything that interests her, launched her own skincare line last season.  Sort of.  There is bound to be more conflict between her and Bethenny Frankel since Bethenny doesn’t support other women, obviously.  Bethenny’s brand does have a skincare line of its own, much like it has popcorn, diet chocolate caramels, and pants.

It will be interesting to see how each brand is represented this season.  Will Bethenny wear Skinnygirl red to every event?  Will Ramona blue be incorporated into every outfit she wears?  Will we ever get our toaster oven?

If you watched the season 10 reunion at all, noticeably missing was Luann.  When she relapsed back in July, Bethenny had a hand in helping her get back into rehab.  This season we will see a meltdown between the two friends, most notably with Bethenny freaking out at Luann and calling her “insufferable” and a “sicko!”

Unfortunately, with the death of Bethenny’s boyfriend Dennis Sheilds last season, it is understandable Bethenny is a bit sensitive.  Is she truly mad at Luann over the cabaret, or is she just taking it out on her?  Has the cabaret gone to Luanns head? Only Jovani knows.

The Real Housewives of New York City cast trip never fails to entertain.  It seems this cast is followed by drama no matter the destination, be it scary island or the boat trip from hell, this trip will no doubt be epic.

On the trip to Miami, Bethenny shouts at Sonja Morgan to “Go to f-ing sleep now,” like she does.  Sonja falls out of her chair, while sitting in her chair, like she does. We can only imagine what led up to this point in the night but can’t wait to watch it unfold.

We hope Tinsley Mortimer does more than cry about her boyfriend Scott the Coupon Cabin guy, but sadly, it looks that way.   We’re just glad she changed her hair. Cry on, Tinsley.

There are appearances by former RHONY housewife Jill Zarin, and new friend-of Barabara Kavovit.  If you remember from earlier, there was definitely something brewing between Barbara and Luann over some kind of recording.

Ramona’s ex-husband, Mario, pops in to kiss her at some point in the season.  Perhaps Red Scarf Man will come back around to woo some of the RHONY ladies. And, with any luck, literally nothing this season will be about Tom.
