RHONY Season 11 Trailer: Biggest takeaways

The Real Housewives of New York City are back for an 11th season and it looks super explosive! Bethenny and company are bringing the fire yet again.

The RHONY Season 11 trailer proved that fans are in for another top notch season. The cast is largely the same except for a Jill Zarin cameo, and the introduction of Barbara Kavovit. This means viewers get to see a whole lot more of Bethenny Frankel, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, and Tinsley Mortimer. We had to watch the trailer at least a dozen times because it was THAT shocking, explosive, dramatic, and jaw dropping.

Last season was the season of giving because of how action packed it was. We got to see Luann’s arrest, more Dorinda meltdowns, and the complete dissolution of Bethenny & Carole’s friendship. After watching the RHONY Season 11 trailer it looks like more longtime friendships are on the rocks this season. The New York housewives know how to deliver, and we are looking forward to another stellar season. Let’s take a look at some of the biggest talking points/takeaways from the trailer, and break down the juicy drama!

1. SO MUCH MAKING OUT

Bethenny kisses both Luann and newcomer Barbara, and Ramona kisses Sonja. Perhaps the ladies being single for too long has led them to look among the group! The Real Housewives of New York City have the most single women of any franchise, so hey get it get it!.

2. JOVANI IS BACK

Praise the Real Housewives gods because the gift of Jovani is back this season. In the RHONY Season 11 trailer, Dorinda is confronted about her actions last season at Luann’s cabaret show. In the trailer Bethenny confronts Dorinda telling her to own that she heckled Luann with the Jovani comments. It’s such an insane fight over a dress, but it’s the kind of Housewives drama we live for.

3. THE TINSLEY AND SCOTT DRAMA RAGES ON

In the RHONY Season 11 trailer Tinsley proclaims to the other ladies that she won’t leave NYC until she has a ring on her finger. Sonja shades her in the confessional saying “you look up insecure in the dictionary and there’s Tinsley.” The back and forth and on and off between Tinsley and her man is exhausting, and we want off the boat.

4. HALLOWEEN IN THE BEZERKSHIRES 

Christmas in the Berkshires is scary enough, but now we are getting Halloween there! Something about that house always leads to full scale meltdowns from the cast, so lets add in ghosts and goblins. We don’t know quite yet what drama will unfold at Dorinda’s infamous house, but we know it’ll be legendary. Hopefully Dorinda makes it nice for all of us.

5. JILL ZARIN’S RETURN 

Jill Zarn is back. Enough said.

6. BETHENNY’S GUILT OVER DENNIS DYING

One moment from the RHONY Season 11 trailer was so raw and that was Bethenny discussing the death of her boyfriend. Her on and off again boyfriend was found dead last summer, and it looks like Bethenny is still struggling. She expresses guilt in the trailer because his death was the only thing that got her off the roller coaster she was on.

7. BETHENNY VS LUANN

Longtime frienemies Bethenny and Luann are at it once again in the RHONY Season 11 trailer. We don’t know the full context of the feud yet, but it looks like Bethenny is sick of Luann talking nonstop about her cabaret show. Bethenny has criticized Luann for years for having a large ego and superiority complex.

8. DORINDA VS EVERYONE

Dorinda is everything. She brings so much to the table as a Real Housewife. Her humor, her total insanity on alcohol, and freakouts are the stuff that legends are made out of. In the trailer we see her argue with Luann, Barbara, and Ramona. Thank you Dorinda for everything you do. We don’t deserve you.
