Shannon Beador was granted $30,000 in spousal support by a judge, but she went back to have the amount lowers. Fans question why.
Shannon Beador argued she was asking David Beador for spousal support because of the lifestyle she was used to living. Even though she had downsized to a house that many would argue is a rather large house, she told viewers that she needed around $22,000 to survive each month. When the judge in the case gave her $30,000 per month based on David Beador’s earnings, Shannon went back to get it lowered.
When The Real Housewives of Orange County viewers heard that she got the amount lowered, they were shocked. Why would she allowed David to get away with having the amount lowered, when he had cheated on her, ruined their marriage, yelled at her in the courtroom, and had supposedly been abusive with her.
Fans were quick to reach out to Shannon Beador, asking her to get the amount raised again. Even though Shannon only lowered the amount to keep the peace between her and David, it sounds like he was not satisfied with the amount.
In fact, Shannon revealed that he had also texted her mean things, including how he had wasted the last 20 years of his life and how she was lazy, fat, and not getting out of bed in the morning. It wasn’t exactly what she had expected.
Omg Shannon!!!! Why would you lower the amount David is ordered to pay you. He cheated on you and then stated you only had a few good months of marriage after being married for YEARS. After all that you still want to please him?! #rhoc

Fans were furious about her decision to lower the amount, revealing that Shannon Beador should have gotten $30,000 and not lowered it at all. It should have been hers. If David does make that much with his business, he should pay her that amount of money. It should also be noted that they have three children to care for.
The two are finalizing their divorce. David has clearly moved on and Shannon Beador is trying to find herself after their divorce. She’s also caring for her daughters, who are living with her. Plus, she’s busy launching a business.
What do you think about Shannon Beador lowering the spousal support amount?
