Karen Huger kept calling herself the Grand Dame of Potomac during the first season. But fans question the title now after the move to Great Falls.

Karen Huger has gone through a tough year, there’s no doubt about that. Karen didn’t share it all on The Real Housewives of Potomac. While she was forced to address her husband’s financial troubles, as The Washington Post printed the news that Ray Huger owed the IRS $5 million in back taxes and penalties, she didn’t talk about her parents.

Last year, Huger kept claiming that she was the Grand Dame of Potomac, revealing that she was the queen. She reminded everyone that she was the queen of Potomac and this was her primary storyline on The Real Housewives of Potomac.

So when Karen moved to Great Falls suddenly with the excuse that she was taking care of her kids. Karen Huger didn’t explain anything else but she moved into a huge mansion despite rumors that she was broke. Ashley Darby has been questioning Karen’s story since she moved.

On this season of the show, Karen Huger has been under scrutiny for not speaking out about her situation. While some people defend Karen, revealing that her co-stars are simply too mean and aggressive towards her, others think back to season one of the show, where she claimed she was the wife of the black Bill Gates.

Fans simply want answers from Karen Huger. If she was in a successful marriage and her husband was so rich, why the need to hide everything from fans? As Camille Grammer once said, people with money don’t talk about money. Yes, she buried both of her parents within seven months of one another – which is sad. But everyone has to say goodbye to their parents at some point and go through that period of pain and suffering.

What do you think of Karen Huger being criticized for not being honest and open?
