Karen Huger seemed to change the topic when Andy Cohen asked her about Ray’s finances on the RHOP reunion this past Sunday.

Karen Huger has never really spoken out about her husband’s business troubles. When The Real Housewives of Potomac began this season, it was revealed that Ray had purchased a business with some tax issues. However, it quickly became his tax issues and it was printed in The Washington Post that Ray owed the IRS over $5 million. Even though Karen had called Ray the black Bill Gates, they simply didn’t have the money to pay it off.

Her Real Housewives of Potomac co-stars had heard about the stories and they wanted answers. They wanted to know what was going on, but when Karen Huger held her faux press conference for her co-stars, she revealed nothing. In fact, she just wanted to tell the women to stay out of her personal business. Fans understand why she doesn’t want to talk about it, as she was taking care of her parents, who later passed away.

Even on the reunion special, Karen Huger denied answering Andy Cohen’s questions about Ray’s financial issues. She told him that he could ask Ray about his business taxes when he came out on stage to film with the other guys.

The first part of the reunion has just aired, so fans will have to tune in to Sunday’s episode to see how Ray decides to answer Andy’s questions. But they have been vocal about putting a payment plan into place with the IRS and working to pay off the taxes.

What do you think about Karen Huger not wanting to answer any questions about her husband’s financial issues? Do you understand why she doesn’t want to get involved?
