Dorinda Medley slammed for not sending condolences to Bethenny Frankel

Dorinda Medley has stayed silent since Friday, but fans think it’s a bad look for her not to reach out to Bethenny Frankel after learning about Dennis.

Dorinda Medley hasn’t said anything about her Real Housewives of New York co-star, Bethenny Frankel, after Dennis Shields’ passing on Friday. Even though she did share an update on Friday before the news broke, she has stayed silent since the news broke on Friday. Many of the other housewives have also stayed silent out of respect for Bethenny, except for Luann de Lesseps. But since Bethenny brought Dorinda to Puerto Rico this past year, fans are wondering why she hasn’t reached out online yet.

Of course, Dorinda Medley may have Bethenny’s phone number and have reached out in private, so the Real Housewives of New York fans didn’t see anything. It’s possible that all of the ladies have done this, but kept silent because Dennis wasn’t really on the show and has children with his ex-wife, Jill.

But on Twitter, Dorinda Medley was slammed for not reaching out. Fans kept tweeting her, asking her why she hadn’t reached out and when she would be writing to Bethenny. Dorinda didn’t address the comments.

It’s possible that she reached out to her in private, sending her flowers or even went to the Hamptons to be there for her. But given their history, it’s also possible that she didn’t reach out, even though it’s known that the funeral took place Monday.

Medley wasn’t happy about Bethenny calling her out for drinking too much. Dorinda has a hard time admitting that she has a drinking problem and she could hold this against Bethenny.
