Dennis Shields’ ex-wife calls him her husband in emotional post

Dennis Shields’ estranged wife posted an Instagram photo after learning of his death, revealing that he was her true love.

Dennis Shields died suddenly on Friday from an apparent overdose. Dennis, who had supposedly struggled with back pain, supposedly took too much medication on Thursday night and woke up on Friday morning, realizing that he was overdosing. Even though his assistant tried to help him, he passed away. Bethenny Frankel has yet to speak out about his death, as one can imagine that she’s grieving. Despite them being on-and-off, it’s clear that she had nothing but love for him.

And while the Real Housewives of New York star hasn’t spoken out yet about Dennis Shields’ death, his estranged wife decided to speak out. Bethenny has revealed that she knows Jill as they went to school together. She has never said anything about Bethenny online, but she did speak out about Dennis after learning about his death. She calls Dennis the love of her life, revealing that he remained her best friend and husband. Jill confirms that they did not live together at the time of his passing.

Dennis Shields passed away in his apartment at Trump Tower, which is also where he overdosed. Bethenny appeared to be at her Hamptons home this weekend, but it’s possible she went back to the city after she heard the news.

Bethenny had confirmed that she was dating Dennis as he had left his wife. They were in the process of divorcing, but Jill clearly still calls him her husband. It’s possible that he didn’t know what he wanted and was caught in the middle of two women. Before Dennis passed away, Frankel had talked about how much she loves Florida and joked about moving to Miami.
