Bethenny Frankel grieving: RHONY cast should rally around her now

Bethenny Frankel is grieving the loss of her on-and-off boyfriend and her RHONY co-stars should rally around her these days as she learns to cope.

Bethenny Frankel was posting about juices and relaxing at her Hamptons home on Friday morning before the news of Dennis Shields’ sudden death started to spread online. Dennis had accidentally overdosed on prescription drugs and he knew he was dying, as his assistant tried to provide him with medication to help overturn the overdose. On Twitter, Bethenny’s co-stars on The Real Housewives of New York haven’t said anything on Twitter about his death, except for Carole Radziwill.

But before Carole learned about Dennis’ death, she had posted mean things about Bethenny Frankel. Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, and Tinsley Mortimer didn’t post anything about Bethenny or Dennis after the news broke. In fact, none of them posted anything. But Luann de Lesseps continued to post about her work and life, even though her Real Housewives of New York co-star could have used a shoulder to cry on.

Many feel that it is a bit insensitive, considering Bethenny Frankel was there for Luann as she went through her divorce from Thomas D’Agostino. In addition, Bethenny’s publicist helped Luann out several times when Luann was going to rehab and dealing with the press. Recently, Frankel was the sole spokesperson for her as Luann headed back to rehab last month.

It’s possible that Luann had some work obligations she needed to attend to first before heading over to Bethenny’s place to be there for her after losing Dennis. These days, Bethenny is staying silent, but one can hope that her co-stars are rallying around her, holding her up as she grieves.
