Bethenny Frankel recently revealed that other than her, no other housewife had ever left RHONY on their own. They were all fired. But is that true?
Bethenny Frankel hasn’t directly commented on Carole Radziwill’s decision to exit The Real Housewives of New York. When Carole announced that she was leaving, she revealed that she wanted to focus on her career, her writing, and her true friendships. It’s possible that she wants to leave the drama behind because she’s truly tired of Bethenny’s drama. But Bethenny did decide to tweet something interesting about the former stars of the show.
On Twitter, she revealed that other than herself, no woman had willingly left The Real Housewives of New York. In other words, she said that all of the other wives had been fired. Bethenny claimed she was the only one who had willingly left the show because she was offered a spin-off show focusing on her wedding and baby.
Bravo has reasons for not asking hwives to return. It’s based on research & focus groups & YOU. Aside from 3 years I left, no RHONY cast member has ever quit. One saying they chose to depart & attributing it to me is fiction. It’s healthier to be truthful about a hard situation.

In other words, she was trying to tell people that Carole Radziwill was fired from the show because people were growing tired of her. Carole has yet to set the record straight on this. But Heather Thomson, a former Real Housewives of New York star, decided to speak out against Frankel, revealing that she was wrong.
I left the show. I was not fired Frankel had zip zero to do with my decision. She is certainly not the only housewife who left the franchise nor am I.

On Twitter, Heather revealed that she decided to leave the show and Frankel had nothing to do with that decision. Heather also revealed that she wasn’t the only one who decided to leave the show.
These days, the show is going through various casting rumors as fans are curious about who will be hired in Carole’s place. While Jill Zarin could be an option, Bravo may go find a younger housewife, who is completely new to the franchise.
What do you think about Bethenny Frankel’s tweet about the former housewives?
