Luann de Lesseps lost control after lawsuit: Not talking to anyone

Luann de Lesseps supposedly lost control after she learned about the lawsuit. Now, she’s cut out everyone and she’s not speaking to her RHONY co-stars.

Luann de Lesseps shocked everyone when she decided to go back to treatment this week. Over the weekend, it was revealed that Luann was being sued by her ex-husband, Alexander de Lesseps and her kids over money. Apparently, the couple had an agreement that Luann would put money into a trust for the kids but she is being accused of using the money on herself and on getting a New York apartment. She was so blindsided by the lawsuit that she supposedly lost control and started drinking again.

Not much is known about her final days before heading back to rehab, but it was Bethenny Frankel who may have encouraged her to go back to treatment. She’s the only one who is authorized to speak out on her behalf to her The Real Housewives of New York. But there are reports that her friends tried to push her into treatment via an intervention but that it failed. Sources say that she definitely relapsed before checking herself in again.

"“She was having a very hard time with the drama of lawsuit surrounding her, and has been reflecting on all of her bad mistakes recently and completely hit a wall. She definitely thought she could handle incorporating alcohol back into her life casually, but eventually spiraled out of control.”"

The sources also tell E! News that no one has seen or heard from her since she checked into rehab, so it’s clear that she wants to be left alone.

One can imagine she was shocked by the lawsuit, especially since her kids were mentioned in the lawsuit. They are clearly slamming her for the way she’s choosing to spend her money.
