Bethenny Frankel is sharing some information about Colombia and the cocaine problem, but she was attacked after saying it was legal there.

Bethenny Frankel has traveled quite a bit over the past couple of months, sharing that she has been in Puerto Rico, Guatemala, and other hard-hit areas from hurricanes and natural disasters. She’s been selling her “This is a crisis” and BStrong t-shirts to allow people to help out and give cash cards to people in need. But when she was filming The Real Housewives of New York, she took some time off from saving the world.

As fans will see in this week’s episode, Bethenny Frankel and the girls will travel to Colombia as Tinsley Mortimer has a house available where the women can stay. They are all excited to go, but there are some things that will happen there that they will never forget. The women will go on a scary boat ride that made headlines before The Real Housewives of New York even began. In addition, some of the ladies did get food poisoning after eating fish.

But Bethenny Frankel learned some facts about drugs while on the trip. On Twitter, Bethenny revealed that cocaine was legal, but when she was confronted by people saying she was spreading lies, she revealed that 1 gram is indeed legal.

These days, the information she learned in Colombia isn’t something she’s focusing on. Bethenny Frankel is indeed helping out Luann, who recently checked back into rehab. She was sued by her family after learning of her plans to move to New York and learning she had a new boyfriend.

What do you think of Bethenny Frankel’s comments, where she defends her comments about cocaine being legal in Colombia? Are you surprised people are calling her out?
